Give this a total skip. I was in the mood for an alpha male, rich hero story and picked this up. Powerful Greek, Unworldly Wife.

If you want a bitchy heroine who goes out of her way to humiliate the hero during their wedding - well cringe away. The ending is bittersweet but hopeful as they make a commitment to love each other for the rest of their lives.
They were realistic and likable. No one held a mrariage to her head and she decided to play martyr, instead of expecting a medal and acting so bitter she should have stuck to her word and quit sulking and kicking her feet. But the ending is abrupt for my taste. Lorenzo vows to bring his virgin bride home-you do not say no to a Santangeli!
Things just get worse when they get married. I was supposed to end it at words and now its words. He then realizes that he has done a pretty unforgivable thing and compounds his error by leaving her alone instead of trying to fix it.
I had no sympathy for her whatsoever. I can't get over how much crap she puts up with and then goes back to that piece of slime. That's when Lorenzo does the stupid thing that made me want to slap him. Not to mention that This was a fairly angsty book.

This marroage has it all, complete with the kind of nuances that you don't always find in more modern HPs -- including mine. There's something about reading her books which takes me back to the older style HPs that I loved growing up.
However, it was the twist at the end that made it all worth it and forced me to give this 3 stars.
