Nothing happened, it was poorly written, and is a poor example of its genre. Feb 24, AnnaMarie rated it it was amazing. But I have no idea what mythology has to do with her running away.

Gemma has run away with the sirens, leaving Harper to cover her tracks and fix everything up with her dad. Then it had shifted, changing form into a different kind of monster—the beautiful Penn. Marcy rolled her eyes. Then it all came back to her. There's much more going on and hockiing story really takes a step forward in its overall progress. Instead of telling lullabby how the sirens' commands work, show us by making Gemma accidentally command someone. Or it would have, if any of this made any sense.
Return to Book Page.
When you like the first book in a series, you look forward to reading the second installment. I am curious about what the series are supposed to be about and why they have so high ratings.
I loved learning more about their history and the original siren, Aggie.

Also, the cover of the third book? Harper and Gemma end up having a lot on their shoulders in this book though.
Of course Gemma would stay here again. I think I was just fascinated by the sirens. With Gemma struggling to control herself and fight her evil-siren ways trying to come out, and Harper stressing over finding Gemma and bringing her back home, there ended up being a lot of tense moments. They were bitchy, rude and selfish as usual but I couldn't help but read more about them!
In the second book we get more details about sirens and what it means to be a siren. Enter your email address to subscribe to this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email.

I don't know why or how Gemma "loved" him. We don't share your email IDs.

I think my reading tastes have changed. Honestly, if I met her in real life, I'd push her in the water.
There was barely any plot here and I still don't care much for Gemme. It was all so out of proportion. Overall, this could not have been a better book to follow Wake and I am very impatient to read the final Watersong Series book, Tidal which is coming out Spring Harper with the help of her friends manages to track Gemma.
