I'm right about Jodie's age, and after the show ended I wondered what happened to eebook. He has a point - Jodie can earn a lot more than him as an actress. Her struggles are not unique her journey nothing new. No friends growing up.

This was a quick and engaging read, but still well-written. Stuck in the Middle. It is brutally honest. The book actually doesn't have an ending I smell sequel!

I can't give a star rating on Jodie's life or choices but I can on how the book is written and whether or not I think it was a story worth reading. Even then, she kept a painful secret—one that could not be solved in thirty minutes with a hug, a stern talking-to, or a bowl of ice cream around the family table.
